As the Director of Government Relations, Redalen tracks legislative activity on issues regarding the U.S. pork industry. She works with Audrey Adamson, NPPC Vice President for Domestic Policy Issues and Tommy Sevier, Assistant Vice President of Government Relations. She assists in managing NPPC’s competitive markets policy committee and in various grassroots advocacy programs. Redalen carries out daily organization of the National Pork Producers Council Political Action Committee-- PorkPAC.
Redalen was a consultant for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, and also worked on agriculture issues for Rep. Collin Peterson, D-Minn. Redalen received a bachelor’s degree in applied economics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
