Receive market prices on your cell phone
NPPC has partnered with Markets on Cell to bring you this unique service to keep you informed of daily futures, options and stocks.
How does it work?
With Markets on Cell, there is no Internet access or special equipment necessary; if your cell phone can receive text messages, you are ready to go! Enrollment is simple; choose from three handy options that are explained on the enclosed form. NPPC will then bill you directly for the low $45 annual fee, which is a discount of more than 30 percent off the standard rate.
Get the market prices you want, when you want them
Choose your markets
Simply select the markets you want to receive; all major markets are available (see enclosed list). Depending on your phone service, you can receive from between six to 12 market prices in the text message. You can change your market selections anytime by visiting the Markets on Cell website — www.marketsoncell.com — and clicking the Customers button, or call 877-234-3909 to speak to a customer service representative.
Choose your delivery times
There are two ways to have messages delivered; you can choose one or both.
Option 1 — Auto-send delivery
Choose up to six regularly scheduled times for market information to be sent automatically to your cell phone
AND/OR
Option 2 — On-demand delivery
Dial 515-309-1504 from your cell phone, let it ring once and hang up; up-to-date information will be sent via text message within seconds. There is no limit to the number of times you can call, and if you are receiving auto-send markets, you can still use the on-demand feature anytime.
Please refer to the enclosed enrollment form to sign up. If you would like more information, please call NPPC at 515-278-8012 or visit our website at www.nppc.org and click the Markets on Cell button.
Check the markets. Anytime. Anywhere.
Note: While Markets on Cell has no additional costs beyond the annual fee of $45 for these services, some cell phone carriers charge for incoming text messages. Please check with your cell phone carrier for their specific text messaging packages and costs.
