Bob Ivey owns and operates Ivey’s Spring Creek Farm in Goldsboro, specializing in select purebred lines and pork quality.  Bob has worked in many different segments of the pork chain, with experience in building and operating large production systems, vaccine and PCR labs, as well as international projects in Asia.

Bob currently serves on the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) Board of Directors, North Carolina Pork Council, and represents producers on various national committees, including the NPPC Logistics Taskforce, Labor Security Committee, and Animal Health Food Safety Policy Committee.

Bob was named “Pork All-American” in 1982 and “Master of the Industry” in 2011 by the National Hog Farmer. Most recently, in 2022, he was inducted into the NC Pork Council Hall of Fame, the highest honor bestowed by the organization, one reserved for outstanding lifetime achievement and contributions to the industry.

Bob is an active member of St. Paul Church Episcopal Church. Bob and his wife Donna reside in Beaufort, North Carolina and are the proud parents of Emery Ivey and Marlowe Vaughan and have 5 grandchildren.
