Dillon is the Director of State Policy for the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC). He leads advocacy efforts at the state level to support pork producers, including developing and implementing state policy strategies, building relationships with state policymakers, and monitoring legislative and regulatory issues affecting the U.S. pork industry. 

Before his current role, Dillon served for six years as the Senior Trade Officer for the Nevada Department of Agriculture, where he led the department’s domestic and international trade programs, as well as its marketing and economic data services. 

Raised in rural Ohio, Dillon brings knowledge and experience in production, policy and promotion of U.S. agriculture. Dillon holds a Bachelor of Science in international agricultural business from Wilmington College of Ohio, and a Master of Science in international agriculture, with a focus on trade and policy, from Oklahoma State University. Throughout his studies, he conducted research and taught farmers in East Africa on effective agricultural practices.
