Neil Dierks Scholarship

Introducing the Neil Dierks Scholarship

The National Pork Industry Foundation is proud to announce the Neil Dierks Scholarship, created to support students seeking a graduate degree at a land grant university in a field related to the pork industry.

This scholarship was developed in honor of Neil’s 2021 retirement following a long and impactful career, including as the CEO of the National Pork Producers Council for more than 30 years. We are proud to further his legacy of leadership and passion by equipping the next generation for a prosperous path in the industry.

If your life has been touched by Neil and his work — whether it was on Capitol Hill, in a boardroom in Des Moines or in your barn — we ask you to consider making a tax-deductible donation that will help perpetuate the work he began by empowering future pork industry leaders.

The $5,000 scholarship will be administered to one individual annually by the National Pork Industry Foundation, with applications due each September and the recipient announced during the Pork Forum in March.
