John Weber

John Weber and his son Brian manage Valley Lane Farms Inc., a grain and livestock operation in Dysart Iowa. John is currently contract feeding for Cargill Pork and has been with the company since 1994. With finishing facilities on three farms, the Webers can spread out workload and maximize nutrients for row crops. Being a good neighbor is always a priority for John. Active on the SIP Marketing Committee as well as the Environmental Policy Committee and the NPPC Farm Bill Task Force, John also serves on the Iowa Pork Producers Association board of directors as well as several state committees. Part of his commitment to being a good neighbor is evident in the Webers’ Church and community activities as well.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University.
