Board of DirectorsDwight Mogler and his family are partners in Pig Hill, Mogler Farms and Dayspring Farm in northwest Iowa. The farms raise pigs, beef cattle, corn, soybeans, and they own a country grain elevator. Dwight’s primary operational role is coordinating daily logistics and pig flow for the farrow-to-finish production system for Pig Hill where they market more than 200,000 pigs each year. Dwight, along with his three brothers, also mentor the “next generation” of Mogler family partners. He serves as the family’s visionary in guiding the long-term strategy for their farming business.
Dwight serves on the Board of Directors of the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) and represents the industry on a national level by serving on the NPPC By- Laws & Resolutions Committee and Environmental Policy Committee.
He has recently been in leadership roles for the Iowa Pork Producers Association, serving on several committees for the state. He is also a past president of the Lyon County Pork Producers and is a member of Iowa Farm Bureau, Iowa Cattlemen and the Iowa Corn Growers. The Mogler family has received several honors over the years, including Master Pork Producer in 1982 and the Pork All-American Award in 1997.
Dwight and his wife, Donna, live in northwest Iowa and have three sons, two daughters, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren. He feels blessed to have one daughter and both sons-in-law back with the family business full-time. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling to explore new destinations and spending time with his family.
Dwight graduated from Iowa State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business.
