Jake Sterle serves as the Director of Industry and Resource Development for the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC). In this role, he is the primary contact for the Pork Alliance membership, focusing on recruitment, retention and sales. He also oversees World Pork Expo sponsorships, leads efforts to raise funds for PorkPAC through events and drives new business development initiatives.

Before joining NPPC, Sterle worked as a Field Service Manager with BarnTools, where he provided customer support to livestock producers across North America. His responsibilities included leading product development and testing, as well as creating, implementing, and managing the BarnTools internship program.

A native of Navasota, Texas, Sterle moved to Roland, Iowa, with his family in 2011. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and International Agriculture and an M.B.A. in Supply Chain Management from Iowa State University. Sterle resides in Ames, Iowa, with his wife, Haley.
