Careers & Scholarship Opportunities

Working for NPPC

The U.S. pork industry is one of the most dynamic and competitive sectors of U.S. agriculture. From small family farms to large-scale farming operations, America’s pork producers raise pigs with a shared commitment to delivering affordable, quality meat to markets worldwide while caring for people, the environment, animals and communities. NPPC is proud to serve as the global voice for U.S. pork producers, advocating for the public policy interests of a $122 billion industry responsible for 550,000 U.S. jobs. Headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, and with a public policy office in Washington, D.C., NPPC fights for reasonable legislation and regulations, develops revenue and market opportunities, and protects the livelihood of America’s 60,000 pork producers.
