Leadership & Education

Building for the Future

Providing scholarships, externships, and leadership training opportunities is essential for strengthening the future of agriculture and investing in the next generation of leaders, innovators, and advocates. These programs help attract, retain, and train young people, remove financial barriers to education, offer hands-on experience, and ensure the industry has a skilled, knowledgeable workforce prepared to meet evolving challenges in food and farming—all while meeting consumers’ needs and maintaining our commitment to animal welfare.

NPPC’s education programs are integral to supporting our industry by organizing our collective grassroots power and providing scholarships and other resources that bring forth and support tomorrow’s leaders.

From our 501(C)(3) foundation to various scholarships, externships, and training programs, NPPC has a variety of opportunities to either provide or receive support so that people of all backgrounds, locations and levels can contribute to the ongoing success of the U.S. pork industry.
