Ed Reed

Ed Reed is the owner/manager of Reed Family Farms, LLC, overseeing risk management, capital projects and day-to-day farm operations. The enterprise features a farrow to finish operations and 3,400 acres of crop production, raising corn, soybeans, and hay.

In addition to serving on the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) Board of Directors and representing producers on various national committees, Ed serves on the Michigan Pork Producers Association Board of Directors and continues to be involved as past president.

Local involvement includes Greenstone Farm Credit Services Board Chairman, and Three Rivers Beacon Health Board.

Ed has served his local community as the Marcellus Junior Varsity Football Head Coach, and Three Rivers Junior High Football Head Coach.

Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and applied sciences from Western Michigan University.

Ed and his wife Kelly reside in Marcellus, Michigan.
