John Anderson

John Anderson is a lifelong pork producer and the leader of Anderson Family Farms, a diversified operation in Belgrade, Minnesota. The farm includes a farrow-to-finish pork enterprise with 4,000 sows and 118,000 pigs marketed annually, along with beef cattle and crop production across 9,850 acres. A graduate of North Dakota State University, John has worked alongside his family to grow the farm and implement a structured succession plan, ensuring its sustainability for the next generation.

A dedicated advocate for the pork industry, John has served as president and board member of the Minnesota Pork Producers Association since 2018, contributing to key committees and task forces. His leadership in industry advocacy, including efforts in risk management and foreign animal disease prevention, has been instrumental in addressing challenges facing U.S. pork producers while promoting growth and sustainability in the industry.
