Government AffairsKyle Garner serves as the Manager of Congressional Affairs for the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC). In his role, he advocates for the U.S. pork industry’s priorities before members of the U.S. House and Senate, focusing on key issues including animal health, commerce and production, the environment, and trade. Garner also works closely with NPPC’s Government Affairs team to develop policy positions and ensure producers are represented at congressional events.
Kyle brings a strong background in agriculture, policy, and legislative affairs. Before joining NPPC, Kyle served in the office of U.S. Congressman Daniel Webster (FL-11), where he advanced from staff assistant to legislative assistant. During his time there, he managed legislative portfolios covering agriculture, small business, and natural resources, contributing to initiatives such as the House’s 2024 Farm Bill efforts, H-2A labor rule revisions, and other key agricultural priorities.
A native of Florida, Kyle earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Communication from the University of Florida’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. He previously served as Florida FFA State President and held leadership roles in the University of Florida student government.
