Mykenzie Darg is the Pork Industry Relations Manager for the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) and a participant in the Pork Industry Immersion Program, a two-year experience created by NPPC, the National Pork Board (NPB), and state pork associations to cultivate early-career leaders through three eight-month rotations with each organization. During her current rotation at NPPC, she focuses on policy development and grassroots engagement.

Most recently, Mykenzie completed her first rotation with the National Pork Board in Clive, Iowa, where she gained hands-on experience in research, education, and promotion. Before joining the immersion program, she completed internships with Iowa Farm Bureau, the Iowa Pork Industry Center, and the HANOR Company, building skills in producer engagement, communication, and production operations.

Mykenzie holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Agricultural Communications and International Agriculture from Iowa State University. She is from Garner, Iowa, where she grew up showing pigs and actively participating in FFA.

For her final rotation in the immersion program, Mykenzie will join the Oklahoma Pork Association, focusing on applying research, education, promotion, policy, and grassroots initiatives at the state and producer levels.
