Trish Cook is a dedicated pork producer and advocate, co-owning CBL Farms, Inc. and Cook Brothers Ltd., a family operation specializing in farrow-to-finish pork production and row crops. Trish, along with her husband, Aaron, own shares in a 5,600-head sow farm and markets 42,000 pigs annually, while also managing 1,200 acres of corn and soybeans.

Trish earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Iowa State University and a master’s degree from the University of Iowa.

Beyond the farm, Trish has demonstrated strong leadership within the pork industry. She has served on the Iowa Pork Producers Association Board of Directors since 2019, including as president in 2023 and past president in 2024. Trish is a graduate of the Pork Leadership Institute and has participated in key industry initiatives, such as NPPC’s Traceability Task Force, the National Pork Board’s Strategic Planning Task Force, and numerous Legislative Action Conferences.

She is committed to advocating for policies that protect producers’ freedoms, expand trade opportunities, and address challenges like labor shortages and state ballot initiatives such as California Proposition 12 and Massachusetts Question 3.
