Tyler Bettin serves as the Assistant Vice President of Producer Services for the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC). In this role, he manages NPPC’s producer sales and outreach team. He is primarily responsible for retaining and recruiting producer support for the Strategic Investment Program (SIP) to drive NPPC’s public policy priorities.

Before joining NPPC in the fall of 2018, Bettin spent more than 10 years at the Iowa Pork Producers Association managing state and federal public policy issues along with environmental programs.

Bettin grew up on a farrow-to-finish and row crop farm. His family was active in pork association efforts at local, state, and national levels, and received Minnesota Pork Family of the Year honors from the Minnesota Pork Producers Association in 2010. Bettin also served as the 2004 Minnesota Pork Ambassador.

Bettin graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2007 with a B.A. in communications with a public relations emphasis.
