Bryan Humphreys is responsible for the overall implementation of all NPPC programs.
Humphreys’ position requires him to spend time in both Des Moines, Iowa, the national office of NPPC, and in Washington, D.C.
Nick Giordano leads NPPC’s DC office and is involved in all aspects of policy issues as they impact the interests of U.S. pork producers. Areas of focus span agriculture, economics, energy, environment, food policy, immigration, production, science and technology, tax, and trade.
Annemarie has overall responsibility for NPPC communications strategy, planning and execution. She oversees external communications, including media relations and digital communications and supports NPPC’s public policy, industry relations and resource development teams.
Terry Wolters of Pipestone, Minnesota is the owner of Stoney Creek Farms and a partner in the Pipestone System. Wolters’ industry involvement has spanned numerous state organizations, including Minnesota Pork Producers Association, South Dakota Pork Producers Council and the Minnesota Farm Bureau.
Scott Hays is a fifth-generation pork producer and as the CEO of Two Mile Pork, LLC, oversees all aspects of production and business operations. The business includes 5,200 sows in a farrow-to-finish enterprise marketing 125,000 pigs annually. Scott represents producers on various national committees and is active in agricultural organizations in Missouri.
Lori Stevermer and her husband Dale raise pigs and crops near Easton, MN. Lori is the Marketing Manager for Hubbard Feeds, having spent her time in sales and marketing in the animal nutrition business for 30+ years. Lori enjoys advocating for the pork industry at local, state and national events.
Andrew partners with the vice president of global government affairs to manage advocacy of NPPC science and technology policies, which include, but are not limited to, animal welfare, animal heath, and food safety. He works closely and collaboratively with NPPC’s chief veterinarian and the vice president of industry relations.
Jack is the point person for NPPC on mandatory price reporting, issues related to buying and selling hogs and pork, labor issues, budget and appropriations issues and industry economic issues. He is a registered lobbyist and reports to NPPC vice president and counsel for global government affairs Nick Giordano.
Michael works with federal agencies, the White House and congressional lawmakers on regulatory and legal issues impacting pork and livestock producers.
Dr. Forseth works on pre-harvest animal health and public health issues. Areas of focus include animal welfare, antimicrobial use and resistance, and foreign animal disease prevention and preparedness. Dr. Forseth works closely with Dr. Liz Wagstrom and reports to NPPC science and technology legal counsel.
In her capacity as chief veterinarian, Dr. Wagstrom works on domestic and international animal health matters and on-farm production and public health issues, including antimicrobial use and resistance. Dr. Wagstrom also manages NPPC’s advocacy efforts relating to foreign animal disease prevention and preparedness.
Maria supports the NPPC vice president and counsel for global government affairs on international policy and NPPC’s trade policy program which focuses on opening, maintaining and increasing market access for U.S. pork.
